Attending TED 2019

I find it so important to take time to be replenished and to get inspired.

In April of this year I attended TED in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was a week of what I call ‘brain camp’. So inspiring! Everything from the talks, meeting the attendees, the amazing location in the conference center right on the ocean to the food, hosted dinners and parties.

I came back so inspired I created a painting titled ‘Powerful’ and sent it to the TED headquarters in New York, where they hung it in the entryway. If you happen to be at thier HQ please check it out!

I have a long list of favorite talks, but thought I’d include six of them here.

Hamdi Ulukaya — Yogurt maker (Chobani founder), humanitarian

Judith Jamison — Dancer, choreographer

Sarah Sze — Artist

Beau Lotto — Neuroscientist

Yeonmi Park — Human rights activist

Carole Cadwalladr — Investigative journalist

Below are some of my photos from TED 2019.

I’m so inspired, I’ll be attending TED 2020, the theme is ‘Unchartered’.
